 Magpie Memories is about contributing to a digital record of Newcastle United as children and their families document the rich history of this famous club. Children in the project were trained in interviewing and recording techniques and set about collecting memories from their families. Families even had the chance to collect memories from Toon heroes such as Bob Moncur, Peter Beardsley and Bryan 'Pop' Robson.The results of the project can now be accessed through a dedicated section in the Newcastle VTLE
Magpie Memories is a project developed after the Learning Centre received funding from BT through the Communicating for Success initiative.
